Except the visits of the permanent exhibitions, the museum uses several other forms for popularizing the rich traditional culture of the population of the area: temporary thematic exhibitions, mobile photo exhibitions, shows – reviews of national costumes.

In its more than 55 -year history the museum participated with its exhibits in many exhibitions: with ethnographic items in national ethnographic exhibitions in Bucharest, Budapest, Montreal, and with archaeological in Bonn and Basel. With independent ethnographic exhibitions the museum participated in AEC ,,Etara” – Gabrovo, in the museums in Burgas, Nova Zagora, Tsarevo, etc.
